Hear from an organization that has maintained a focus on combating the opioid epidemic by utilizing their EHR to provide prescription data to emergency department physicians, substantially reducing prescribing rates. In addition, they integrated an opioid risk tool and a Morphine Equivalent Daily Dose calculator to aid providers in understanding opioid potency.
This session is part of a special program called Best Practices Symposium: Leveraging Information and Technology to Combat Opioid Addiction. Extra fees and separate registration is required.
