Description

Digital health technologies present exciting opportunities to enhance the quality of life as individuals age. This interest in technological solutions is understandably greater when discussed in the confines of a technology conference. Yet, aging is an intensely personal experience that can get lost in the hype of technological advances. The opening session recognizes the potential to overlook the individual and provides a foundation for the rest of the sessions in this symposium by exploring mind-body-soul struggles older individuals and their caregivers face. The presenter will explore the potential role technologies can play in improving the quality of one’s life in each domain.
