Description

Nursing care plans have been introduced in Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as part of the Trust's plan to go digital; however, this process has not been without its challenges. This session outlines the thinking behind the build, exploring the philosophy of nursing adopted and technical features of the EHR exploited to support the nurse at the bedside. The speakers will examine the challenges faced when using nursing care plans for the first time and the steps taken by the Trust to facilitate an effective documentation workflow, while maintaining user engagement and technical functionality.
