‘’From Vision to Reality: eHealth Workforce Development and Clinician Engagement’’

The Middle East is one of the fastest growing healthcare markets in the world, with an overall demand for healthcare anticipated to increase by 240% over the next 20 years. As the digital transformation of the local health systems is now a pressing imperative, a key question becomes: are the skill sets following and are clinicians, nurses and care organizations’ staff ready for this transformation? The commitment of the Middle East to invest in the development of a skilled, empowered and engaged eHealth workforce is an example for the rest of the world. From need assessment to integrating workforce development in digital transformation strategies, HIMSS19’s Middle East Summit will present regional initiatives and best practices in professional development.
