mCODE: A Cancer Model for a Learning Health System

10:45am - 11:05am Tuesday, March 10
Orlando - Orange County Convention Center
Hall D | Booth 7089 | Federal Health Pavilion

To draw clinically-meaningful and valid inferences, EHRs must contain structured data of sufficient quality. mCODE (minimal Common Oncology Data Elements) is a FHIR-based standard designed to accelerate advances in cancer care, and inform research by enabling analysis across thousands of patients. Through mCODE, MITRE is working with multiple partners to grow a community of health systems, researchers, and vendors to demonstrate real interoperability and improve outcomes for cancer patients.
