Incident response planning is the basis for preparing for security and compliance incidents. As healthcare organization, we have found ourselves frequently targets of external attack. A well maintained incident response plan, along with testing, can provide substantial cost reduction to an organization while improving recovery times when a breach is experienced. This session will provide an in-depth overview of what should go in to an incident response plan, how to test it, how to educate the other members of your organization as to the importance, and most importantly, how to be prepared when an incident or breach occurs.
