The CDO role is quite new for healthcare providers, not only in Germany, but also in Europe and US. In this session, the speakers will explain the role of the CDO and not only distinguish between CIO, CDO, CNIO, CMIO, etc., but also give insights about advantages of a C-Suite Digitalization officer in a large organizations. Furthermore, the CDO of the Charite, which is the largest Academic Healthcare Provider in Germany, will explain his role in the Charite which in particular needs to balance between the healthcare digitalization initiatives and the scientific area with its different needs. This session will highlight the digital transformation of the Charite and will discuss the value of CDO-driven transformations.
