HIMSS Student Case Competition: Defining the Future of Transformative Care Today

Description

The Student Case Competition provides opportunities for inter-disciplinary student teams to apply recommendations which support up-to-date health IT practices involving transformative care, as well as recommendations with advocacy outreach at both the Federal and State level. The winning Team will present their findings at HIMSS18.

Learning Objectives: 

  • Outline an overview of the HIMSS-supplied case study
  • Describe the analysis that resulted in a “design of the future” to realize transformative care today
  • Identify the ways the results will inform advocacy outreach on both the Federal and State level
