A discussion moderated by, Jilan Liu, HIMSS Greater China representative based in Seattle, Washington, USA, explores EMRAM advancements in China. With the second highest number of HIMSS EMRAM stage 7 hospitals, next only to the United States, the growth, capabilities and rapid deployment in health information and technology has gained much attention.  We will also explore how information technology can be used and deployed for the purpose of early detection, isolation and diagnosis to help control the spread of disease, using China and the Novel Corona Virus as a use case.
