Aligning Digital and Provider Enterprise Strategies: One Organization’s Experience

3:00pm - 4:00pm Tuesday, February 12
Orlando - Orange County Convention Center
W230A

Description

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) comprises 15 hospitals, scores of community-based health center and clinics, nearly 2,300 physician partners, and more than 14,600 colleagues in Illinois and Wisconsin. With the health system’s mission “to reveal and embody Christ’s healing love for all people with high quality Franciscan care ministry,” it is imperative for the system to have and deliver on a unified message and caliber of care to the populations they serve. Early in 2018, leaders of the coordinated health system convened a Digital Strategy Steering Committee to develop and support the execution of a ministry-wide Digital Strategy that would unify digital efforts across the health system. HSHS created a digital strategy that, at its core, aims to digitally enable the patient journey and improve quality of care, patient satisfaction and retention, as well as increase the health system’s market share.
