This session will discuss a number of aspects in balancing the demands of work with our personal lives. The balance of how much energy we channel into our work and personal lives is a moving target. While much of the work-life harmony change is starting to happen at an organization-wide level in many progressive companies, healthcare leaders can start with themselves and their teams now by focusing on the following: "clarify where you’re headed"; "set the state for peak performance"; and "work smarter, not harder". By making changes that enable a reinvention of how staff and individuals use their time by streamlining workflows, upgrading communication tools, and staying up-to-date on leading-edge, leadership concepts, healthcare IT leaders and others can create workplace cultures that enables their teams to perform at peak levels, actualize their personal goals, and nourish their spirits.
