Ethics in the Age of Digital Health

2:15pm - 2:35pm Wednesday, March 11
Orlando - Orange County Convention Center
Hall D | Booth 7089 | Federal Health Pavilion

Description

The Age of Digital Health brings with it the promise of personalized treatments from AI, accelerated cures from data-sharing, and better care for patients overall. It also brings risks of enhanced bias, diminished privacy, and at worst, harm to patients. Employing ethical approaches can help patients, healthcare providers, and other healthcare stakeholders navigate together in identifying ethical risks and issues, agreeing on viable approaches to mitigate risks, and engineering solutions.
