Driving Physician Engagement and Patient Outcomes with Artificial Intelligence
10:00am - 11:00amThursday, February 14
Orlando - Orange County Convention Center
A multispecialty partnership of top physicians with more than 3,000 clinicians and 250 practice locations, Vituity enhanced patient experience, improved population health, lowered costs--and improved the work life of its providers by developing real-time clinical decision support tools, supported by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). This session will review the organization’s development of four AI-driven applications: a cardiac risk predictor; emergency department (ED) re-admittance predictor; an associated ED call-back tool to prevent re-admissions; and a team-based performance benchmarking solution. By making the applications easily available to physicians and building trust, information technology leaders inspired physicians to drive patient engagement toward better outcomes.
