Driving Innovation through Data and Collaboration

11:30am - 12:30pm Wednesday, March 11
Orlando - Orange County Convention Center
W311E

Description

With more individual touch points than most provider systems, payers are uniquely positioned to act as catalysts for change in the healthcare ecosystem by leveraging their scale and access to data and trends. The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) and Blue Health Intelligence (BHI) jointly launched The Blue Cross Blue Shield Data Innovation Challenge with support from Healthbox, a HIMSS Innovation Company and advisory firm. The initiative sought innovative organizations which could leverage and extend the value of existing data and resources to impact the quadruple aim. This session will explore how organizations that “produce” and “consume” data can drive outcomes through collaboration, decentralization, and core competencies with creative solutions. It represents the first step toward a top-down shift in how payers can and will provide value to patients moving forward.Air Zoom Vomero 13
