Description

After three years we are now recognizing certain near-term trends in Blockchain / Distributed Ledger Technology innovation in healthcare that point to where the meaningful work is happening. This presentation will explore the design patterns that are emerging as well as the relationship between the companies / consortia, the technical structures, and the business models behind these projects.  This information is designed to help innovators learn from the lessons of the past three years and understand how and why certain use cases are being unlocked while others are still hype.
This session is part of a special program called Blockchain Symposium. Extra fees and separate registration is required.

Learning Objectives

  • Take away business, technical, and governance lessons learned from early blockchain experimentation across dozens of projects
  • Be able to describe three major design patterns behind use case development in 2020 and which consortia are leveraging these design patterns for specific projects
  • Differentiate between protocols and tools available for use in 2020 that help bring use cases to life
