Designing From the Inside Out: Taking a Strategic Approach

10:30am - 11:30am Thursday, March 8
Las Vegas - Venetian Convention Center
Sands Show Room

Description

Northwell Health is anticipating the future of care, and it believes telehealth will be a critical component. The organization has a culture of “measuring twice, and cutting once.” So, when leadership decided to implement a telehealth program, it took the time to set a strategy and plan for success. This session will provide details on how Northwell successfully developed a strategy and internal program for the responsible use of telehealth across its 18 hospitals in New York. The goal of this session is to prepare attendees to assess their readiness for a system-wide telehealth program, and begin putting the pieces in place to develop their own strategic and long-range plans.

Learning Objectives:

  • Assess an organization’s readiness to implement a sustainable and cost-effective telehealth program
  • Analyze system-wide workflow needs to determine a long-range plan and tactical implementation
  • Identify the appropriate talent to serve on a telehealth leadership team
  • Prepare an organization to be receptive to a telehealth program implementation
