3:00pm - 4:00pm Thursday, March 8
Las Vegas - Venetian Convention Center
Palazzo E

Description

Mayo Clinic is currently building joint support structures and processes with multiple external telehealth vendor partners. This session is an extension to our HIMSS17 presentation “Create and Scale an Enterprise Telehealth Support Model” which focused on scaling support for telehealth services across a multi-site hospital. Telehealth is an evolving care delivery platform built by connecting those existing technology and care services in new ways. Our project has evolved to working with several telehealth vendors and building different support models to best utilized our knowledge and resources and better manage telehealth program effectiveness. This session will explain our systematic approach to outsourcing and insourcing components of our support structure.

Learning Objectives:

  • Use a structured approach for identifying level of support needed by each organization
  • Apply multidisciplinary collaboration across teams and organizations for enterprise level Telehealth support
  • Design and develop tools, structures and communication channels to operationalize the support model
