Description

Remote monitoring and telehealth are transforming healthcare and are integral to value based models of care. Connected health technologies break down traditional barriers of time and space cost-effectively, allowing for “anytime and anywhere” care. It’s pivotal for reimbursement models to transform to support new, innovative approaches to care.
This session is part of a special program called Coordinated and Connected Care Symposium: Tackling the Challenge of Connected and Coordinated Care. Extra fees and separate registration is required.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify existing billing codes that are beginning to enable reimbursement for remote monitoring and chronic care management
  • Discuss need for new CPT codes that support a rapidly evolving healthcare delivery system
  • Explore a variety of emerging business models for connected health and how consumer facing technology is enabling the transformation towards non traditional approaches to health care
