This session explores the anticipated role of the ONC’s Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) and the current state of the healthcare data exchange ecosystem. Panelists will identify key factors the industry must focus on to truly achieve interoperability, stop all forms of information blocking, and enable user friendly patient access to information.

  • Describe how the 21st Century Cures Act is catalyzing the industry
  • Recognize the role TEFCA plays in achieving nationwide interoperability and the challenges and barriers the industry still faces to achieve the vision of TEFCA
