There is no slowing of media coverage on blockchain technology. It has been touted as revolutionizing the way we manage information, drive honesty and increase transparency in various industries including healthcare. But it is not a silver bullet. This session will weed through the hype and provide a detailed overview of what blockchain is, what it isn't and how it can be applied to healthcare use cases. The speakers will go through a list of items companies/individuals should ask to see if blockchain is an appropriate solution. Attendees will hear firsthand things they should consider before implementing blockchain, as well as best practices and even discuss alternatives and other solutions.
