Adapting a Cyber Security Program to Meet New Risks at a HDO

Hospitals and health systems are becoming increasingly aware of new risks to their IT environment.  With more and more connectivity demanded to provide clinical care or to interface with information systems, the attack surface for threat actors is increasing exponentially.   The traditional cyber security program focuses on IT assets and has not traditionally deal directly with risks from connected medical devices or systems managed outside of the IT department.   This session will demonstrate that evolutionary steps in the cyber security program to meet these new risks.
