Senior executives at two IDNs discuss their approach to extending the enterprise data model of consolidated patient records to legacy, clinical and financial data. Both institutions leveraged a flexible archive platform to eliminate legacy systems while retaining their data in a unified platform to enhance data access and significantly reduce information and technology costs.
