This interactive panel will provide the audience with an overview of how the Federal Government funds programs and initiatives to leverage telehealth across the country, especially in rural areas. The widespread use of healthcare technology in the U.S. faces several challenges such as: reimbursement policies, licensure, workforce, and broadband. HRSA will share resources from their funded programs that increase access and use of telehealth in rural and underserved communities. AHRQ will share evidence reviews and research grants that show the effectiveness and use of healthcare technologies over time.
