A quick scan of the current healthcare environment provides a long list of technology options: robots, wearables, automating work to make EHRs easier to use, data analysis to identify treatment and risk patterns, automating repetitive tasks to free physicians and nurses for more direct patient care, just to name a few. With real-world examples of innovation, three CHIME members will share their experiences and challenges of bringing advanced technology to health and care. They are Marc Probst, vice president and CIO at Intermountain Healthcare; Natalie Pageler, MD, CMIO at Stanford Children’s Health; and Daniel Barchi, senior vice president and CIO at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
