While 90% of providers offer access to a patient portal, less than one third of patients have integrated the portal into their daily lives. The challenge is the sign up process can be difficult, connecting to other services involves creating another account, and there is no unified view of the offering. If we look at this through a different lense, this can be encapsulated as an identity challenge. If we can solve the identity challenge, we can solve the Patient Engagement Challenge.
