This session presents data regarding the importance of rehumanizing care delivery in the digital age. To succeed at this, healthcare must build an evidence-base that proves the value of interpersonal skill development, while also acknowledging the value of integrating innovative technology solutions for patient and providers.

Attendees will engage in short interactive activities to gain insight regarding techniques for establishing the human connection through relationship-centered communication.

Key discussion points will include how to explore basic practices to enhance human connection, with a focus on fundamental skills of relationship-centered communication and recognize opportunities to leverage innovations as opportunities to improve communication, patient experience, and patient/clinician engagement.
