This presentation will provide practical experience in program development, implementation, challenges, and outcomes from a well-established and rapidly expanding state-wide, school-based telehealth program. Attendees will emerge with the core knowledge of the program development process required to engage key partners and implement a successful program. Practical elements such as engagement strategies, workflows and efficiency enhancing pearls will be shared along with the most up to date evaluation outcomes that include an association between school-based telehealth and decreased emergency department utilization. The policy implications of these outcomes and their link to further program sustainability and enhanced reimbursement models will also be discussed.
