The use of tools and software in healthcare organizations continues to grow as use of data to aide in clinical and business outcomes continues to expand. While the industry is saturated with options, Open Source tools - such as the ones built by the OHDSI open science community - remain a front runner in adoption. This presentation will discuss and demonstrate the suite of options within the OHDSI network, allowing attendees to understand the benefits of implementing these tools into their workflows. The OHDSI network leverages the OMOP model to run their analysis, however, organizations will typical use bespoke methods to harmonize disparate data sources. This presentation will also demonstrate to the attendees how to simplify their processes to reduce the time to adoption of the OHDSI tool suite. It will address how cloud technologies can help to streamline the implementation and management of the OMOP CDM and OHDSI Data Science toolstack and ease the burden on technical teams and change the focus from implementation to insights.
