The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) is a private, non-profit organization that is the
nation’s organ transplant system under a federal contract called the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN). Access to high-quality medical image studies and image study interpretations is central to the
information that transplant hospitals need to determine if an organ appropriate for a potential
recipient. In January 2019, UNOS began an Image Sharing in DonorNet ® pilot with a cloud image management vendor and with six OPOs. Learn more about the pilot during this presentation.
