The democratization of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, which is being driven by cloud technologies, is leading to greater access and more predictive work in patient monitoring and smarter reactive responses to health issues. As the healthcare industry becomes increasingly open to AI-based technology applications throughout numerous points of care in healthcare, greater access to superior intelligent information has helped to simplify processes for patient monitoring, diagnostics and treatment. This openness and more welcomed
adoption of AI technology is creating helpful examples and learnings which in turn leads to greater adoption in not only technologically-advanced countries like the U.S., but also more rural areas and third-world countries. Advanced technology may not be as widely available in these areas, but AI-based software programs are becoming more and more seamlessly integrated into their healthcare systems because of the ease of implementation and accessibility via the internet.
