In collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic, the Patient Engagement & Experience Forum is focused on innovative ways to improve patient care through patient satisfaction, empowerment, engagement and experiences. The forum focuses on digital and human-to-human approaches to improving care by boosting patient satisfaction, empowerment, engagement and experience.

Patient engagement and experience are critical to improving outcomes and controlling costs. Unengaged patients incurred costs up to 21% higher than engaged patients, according to a recent study. Likewise, another study found that providing a good patient experience generated 12% more positive patient reviews online over the last nine years. As speakers will discuss, personalizing the patient experience and boosting engagement improves outcomes and the bottom line.

Key takeaways:

  • Strategies for engaging patients how they want to be engaged
  • Developing an engagement framework that puts the patient at the center
  • Improving clinician experience and reducing burnout
  • Leveraging technologies to advance patient experience and engagement goals
  • Addressing critical topics like the opioid epidemic and medication adherence
