The Personal Connected Health Alliance and MobiHealthNews are collaborating to bring personal connected health to the forefront of HIMSS17. With the inaugural Digital and Personal Connected Health Forum on February 19 and 20, PCHAlliance and MobiHealthNews hope to bring together healthcare providers who are already practicing in the digital health-enabled future and the perspectives from patients, patient advocates and others in the trenches who are using personal health technologies to bring health and wellness into our daily lives.

Amanda Greene

Amanda Greene became an engaged patient activist after living with Lupus (and other autoimmune conditions) for decades. Her struggles made her advocate for herself; now she also advocates for others. Amanda is the International Pain Foundation’s “Face of Lupus” and raises awareness from New York to Los Angeles for the Lupus Research Alliance. Online, she openly shares her perspectives of the patient journey. Her story “Living Well with Lupus” is a chapter in Jan Oldenburg’s newest book “Participatory Healthcare.”  Amanda believes that sharing is caring and looks forward to engaging with online and off at H1MSS17 as a PCHA Collaborators.


Denise Silber

Denise Silber, an American in Paris, is driven by a passion to improve healthcare both by empowering patients and by facilitating digital integration. These goals which are very much aligned with the ambition of the Personal Connected Health Alliance, to achieve personal connected health for all, led Denise to join us as a social media ambassador and speaker in Orlando. She is the founder-president of Basil Strategies consultancy and also the creator of one of the earliest events to feature patient innovators, Doctors 2.0 & You. These activities developed her expertise in digital communication strategy and as a keynote, emcee, and program curator. A global thought leader and social media influencer, Denise received France’s highest civil distinction, the Legion of Honor, in 2011, for her work in bringing the European and American eHealth communities closer.


Michael Joseph


Michael Joseph is the Founder and CEO of Prime Dimensions, a Washington, DC-based healthcare consulting firm. He has experience integrating health IT systems through innovative, cost-effective solutions to improve interoperability, scalability and performance. As a leukemia survivor, he is dedicated to making healthcare more patient-centered, compassionate, accessible, effective and efficient. Mr. Joseph is passionate about solving complex problems in healthcare through the better use of IT, data and analytics.
