Tim Hediger is the Director of Data Analytics and Improving Systems at Doylestown Health. Since 2004, he has led a team of improvement specialists and data analysts supporting data-driven quality improvement projects across product lines and patient care units. He has been the chief architect of Doylestown Hospital’s Improving Systems Information Portal (ISIP) which serves to provide near real time patient-centered census reports, trending reports, statistical control charts and drill down capability to users across the enterprise. The hallmark of the reporting portal his team has developed has been to deliver just-in-time information to improvement teams care givers and leaders to drive improvement efforts. Mr. Hediger is currently leading a major migration of Doylestown Health’s clinical analysis and reporting delivery vehicle to Qlikview which will provide increased usability of data to improvement teams, clinical staff and senior leaders.
Prior to coming to Doylestown Hospital, Mr. Hediger worked for 16 years as a civilian engineer for the US Navy, developing and testing innovative techniques to detect and classify submarine signatures in high noise environments. He earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and a Master of Science in Statistics from Temple University.
