Sanjeev Tandon

Sanjeev Tandon is a respiratory physician by training, who brings with him more than twelve years of teaching, research, public health and clinical experience at a university teaching hospital in India, which includes the making of 64 publications, a best paper award by the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) and a prestigious 1.5 million Yen award for a Clinical Research Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology at the Division of Respiratory Medicine, Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Niigata University Niigata(Japan). In addition, he has a Master's (MS) in Health Informatics from the University of California Davis Medical Center (UCDMC), University of California, Davis, California, and successfully completed the two year, CDC Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program (PHIFP) in June 2011. Currently, he serves as a Senior Service Fellow in the Office of the Director, Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, Georgia. He is the lead for the CDC's Public Health & Electronic Health Records (EHR) "Meaningful Use", and the Zika Virus Disease Response(Health Information Technology) projects.
