Richard Biehl is the Program Director for the Masters Degree in Healthcare Systems Engineering at the University of Central Florida, and has worked in healthcare systems and information management for more than a decade. He has engineered data warehousing and informatics solutions at healthcare organizations across the United States. Rick teaches in both graduate and undergraduate programs in the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Sciences. His research focus is on healthcare and bioscience data warehousing and data interoperability, as well as the application of complexity theory to healthcare systems. Rick holds a Ph.D. in Applied Management & Decision Sciences from Walden University, as well as ASQ certifications as both Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE).
