Dr. Antevy is a practicing pediatric emergency medicine physician at the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital since 2005 after completing his residency and fellowship training in Los Angeles and Pittsburgh respectively. Dr. Antevy is also an EMS medical director for four EMS agencies in Broward and Palm Beach Counties and two paramedic schools, and associate medical director for three other EMS agencies. He also serves as the medical director for Transitional Health Solutions, an innovative mobile integrated healthcare model which aims to prevent readmissions in chronically ill Medicare patients. In 2010 he founded Pediatric Emergency Standards, Inc. in order to focus on improving pediatric emergency care both in and out of hospital. His mission is to improve the quality of care and eliminate medication dosing errors in pediatrics. Dr. Antevy is a renowned speaker and considered an expert in the field of pre-hospital pediatric emergencies. He is one of only a few pediatric specialists who also serve as lead EMS medical director. The agencies he provides direction for serve over 2 million residents in the South Florida Tri-county region.
