Pam Russell is the Senior Consultant focusing on LTPAC and LTSS business development for the CedarBridge Group, LLC. Previously, Pam was the LTC Program Director/Government Program Subject Matter Expert (SME) at CORHIO for the last five years. Pam managed the CMS/ONC LTPAC (Long-Term and Post-Acute Care) grant to improve care transitions and reduce hospital readmissions through health information technology in 2011- 2014. Over 125 long term care providers were connected to the HIE to receive data from hospitals and labs via the web based program. From May 2014-May 2016, Pam was the CORHIO Program Director for the CMS/ONC grant titled TEFT (Testing Experience and Functional Tools) working with HCBS Medicaid waiver clients to adopt PHR's and develop standards for eLTSS records with S & I Framework. Pam also worked with another grant opportunity for Colorado (2015-2017) at CORHIO, the CMS/ONC grant entitled the Advanced Interoperability Initiative Grant awarded to HCPF focusing on getting data from long-term and post-acute care providers, ambulatory providers and behavioral health programs into the HIE via a CCD (Continuity of Care document). Pam has a degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and a Master's of Science degree in health administration from the University of Denver and is a HIMSS Fellow.
