Nadine Robin serves as Health IT Program Director for the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum. She is responsible for integrating the needs of the health IT program’s goals and objectives with state and federal agencies as well as with partnering organizations, groups and associations. Her role also involves strategic and tactical planning of behalf of the program and ensuring that all state and federal deliverables are met within established timelines. During her time with the Quality Forum, Robin has developed extensive experience in Meaningful Use, EHR adoption/implementation, patient engagement and HIE advancement and spoken at regional, state and national levels about issues related to these topics. In addition, Robin plans and implements services related to the Louisiana Health Information Technology (LHIT) Resource Center and the Louisiana Health Information Exchange (LaHIE). She oversees daily operations, staffing and resource requirements; establishes quality standards and evaluation procedures; and ensures value for LHIT Resource Center clients and LaHIE participants. Robin is the Past-president of the Louisiana Chapter of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and has served on that organization’s Board of Directors since 2013. She is also a Committee Member for the Advisory Board of the Masters in Health Informatics Program at Louisiana Tech.
