Mr. Harding currently serves as the Deputy Director of Washtenaw County Community Mental Health (WCCMH). He has served as the Chief Information Officer for the Washtenaw Community Health Organization (WCHO), who was the primary funder for Washtenaw County community mental health services from 2001-2011. In this role, he implemented two Electronic Health Records, obtained Meaningful Use Certification, implemented a Personal Health Record for consumers, and deployed mobile technology throughout the agency. In addition, he was the principal investigator for the supplemental technology grant to the SAMHSA Primary Behavioral Health Care Initiative grant. Through this grant, he was nominated by the National Council for the “WCHO Wellness Plan: Implementation of an Integrated Electronic Health Record” Award of Excellence in Health Information Technology. Washtenaw was one of the first behavioral health settings to share behavioral health information through an HIE.
He has collaborated with many partners across the State of Michigan to implement Health Information Exchange and eConsent technology between both behavioral and physical health settings within Washtenaw County.
