Dr. Eisenberg is a graduate of Yale College and Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency, chief residency and emergency medicine fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he is currently an attending physician in the division of emergency medicine and an instructor in the departments of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Eisenberg’s early research focused on concussion and head injury in children. After completing a fellowship in quality improvement in 2014, he has been leading major initiatives in the division and the hospital around improving safety of critical care procedures, expediting care for immunocompromised patients, and improving recognition and treatment of pediatric sepsis. Dr. Eisenberg is an active participant in the national Improving Pediatric Sepsis Outcomes collaborative as a member of the Boston Children’s Hospital steering committee for this effort and the physician leader for the division of emergency medicine.
