Lisa Grisim RN, MSN is a leader with a passion for innovation and making a difference in healthcare delivery who has been at Stanford University Medical Center in various positions for over 30 years. She has spent the last 20 years specializing in the implementation and optimization of EMRs along with helping to lead the development and adoption of Lean tools and techniques within the IS department. Her most recent EMR implementation resulted in Stanford Children's Health (SCH) & Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford attaining the prestigious HIMSS Analytics Stage 7 of the EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM). Prior to this, she held positions as Project Manager for the implementation of Stanford adult hospital's first EMR followed by being the Project Director for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford’s first EMR implementation. She also led the IS portions of the development of SCH’s medical foundation, Packard Children’s Health Alliance. Lisa formed SCH’s first Project Management Office (PMO) when she was the Director of the PMO and she also created and led the first EMR production support team for the organization as Director of Applications. Lisa began her career moving up the nursing ranks as a Staff Nurse, Nurse Educator and Nurse Manager. In her current role as VP and ACIO she leads a team of over 150 staff and consultants managing all clinical and revenue cycle applications for the organization, IS Imaging, the PMO and Clinical Technology and Biomed Engineering. Lisa earned her BSN at the University of San Francisco (USF) and her MSN at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
