Joshua Richardson, PhD, MS, MLIS is a research health IT scientist in RTI International’s Digital Health and Clinical Informatics program. His experience in health informatics encompasses research expertise, business development, organizational development, and project management. He has led qualitative and quantitative data analyses, including clinical data and interoperability standards, care coordination, and decision support for geriatric care that led to published research findings in professional journals, meetings, and conferences. Dr. Richardson has contributed to research papers developed by more senior staff. He has advised colleagues and students on effective research methods of data collection, analysis, and dissemination. He has also managed staff and mentored faculty on mission-critical projects to meet pivotal deadlines. In addition, Dr. Richardson has knowledge and expertise in the ways that health IT affects long-term and post-acute care and policies.
