As Director of Innovation Communities, Jeff manages the intake and analysis of new opportunities and solutions at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, he focuses on creating a culture of innovation by building relationships with internal stakeholders, exploring opportunities with likeminded organizations, designing experiences, running idea generating activities, and researching markets and trends.
Jeff has over 20 years of leadership experience in global businesses; driving innovation in healthcare, nonprofit, education, oil, nuclear and clean energy sectors. He is known as a thought leader, visionary, and problem solver with strong technology-based venture acumen.
Currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Health Innovation from Case Western Reserve University, Jeff holds a Master of Computer Science from Kent State University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University. He is heavily active in innovation and entrepreneurship events throughout the US and serves various startup and accelerator, emerging technology and 501(c)3 organizations through advisory roles, board membership and volunteering.
