WHERE THE BRIGHTEST MINDS in health and IT meet.

Irene Elizabeth Stroud

MDiv, STM
PhD candidate
Princeton University
Beth Stroud has a long history and varied personal and professional history, and is currently a PhD student in Religious Studies at Princeton. In this presentation, she will be attending and presenting in the other role that takes up most of her time: lung cancer survivor. Beth is an experienced speaker, advocate and facilitator. She has blogged about her experiences with lung cancer and has been active in the online #lcsm community. From Stage IV cancer to "No Evidence of Disease" with a healthy dose of precision medicine along the way, her story intersects with the story of Health IT and Interoperability in ways that highlight the relationship of the patient with interoperability and what the patient needs their data to do for them.
