Fran Turisco is a senior healthcare consultant and IT strategist with a diverse background that includes consulting, research and hospital IT line management. Her entire career has been dedicated to healthcare and technology. She has published and presented on numerous topics relating to emerging healthcare trends and technologies and is often quoted in industry trade journals. Fran has been a manager, mentor and coach for consultants, researchers and technologists throughout her career. Prior to joining Chartis, Fran led numerous IT projects as a line manager in healthcare facilities, as a consultant and a researcher, covering all aspects of systems strategy, selection, contract negotiations, implementation and support. Clients include integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, health plans, large community hospitals, hospital and professional organizations, pharmaceutical firms and charitable organizations.
Prior to joining The Chartis group, she held management positions at Aspen Advisors, Fist Consulting Group, New England Medical Center, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and Andersen Consulting. Ms. Turisco received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and her Bachelor of Science from The Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering.
