As Chief Executive Officer of the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum, Cindy Munn brings more than 25 years of health care leadership and operations management to her role. Munn oversees development of the strategic roadmap for the organization that supports an integrated approach to transforming health care in Louisiana. She has oversight responsibility for key initiatives that include health information technology (IT), practice transformation/medical home development, quality measurement and analytics, end-of-life care planning and education/outreach. With regard to health IT, Munn directs the state’s regional extension center and health information exchange.
In addition, she serves on the board of the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI) and the TexLa Telehealth Resource Center. Munn is a member of NRHI’s Executive, Governance and Public Policy Committees as well as the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry’s Health Care Council. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
