Christi Grimm is Chief of Staff for the Office of Inspector General (OIG) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In this role she is responsible for effective execution of priority initiatives, providing counsel on a wide variety of policy and operational matters, and ensuring high quality work products for OIG. She is an OIG executive liaison, responsible for communicating and coordinating with government partners, national professional associations, and the private sector. Prior to becoming OIG’s Chief of Staff, Ms. Grimm was the Director of Policy and Programs, a role in which she managed the day-to-day operations of the Immediate Office to the Inspector General. Ms. Grimm’s additional leadership roles for the Office of Inspector General include serving as Special Assistant to the Inspector General and Principal Deputy Inspector General and as a senior program analyst in OIG’s Office of Evaluation and Inspections, examining topics ranging from adverse events in hospitals, the Medicare appeals process, and CMS contractor oversight.
