A team of Pace University's driven students is conducting research on the different ways that immersive virtual reality environments can help individuals in the health care system. Primarily, the research being conducted is focused on helping individuals who have suffered from spinal cord injuries and strokes. The team is composed of inspiring senior and graduate level students studying in the fields of Information Technology and Computer Science. Students are developing and testing immersive therapy environments based on patient needs and feedback. Pace University is working in collaboration with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and Samsung in order to complete this mission.
