Come to this session to hear the results of an industry-wide survey on the state of digital marketing and digital operations in healthcare in 2017. Attendees will learn about the current scope of digital marketing/operations techniques used in healthcare, what is working well and what isn't, learn about the software tools and platforms being deployed in healthcare and how they are being integrated with other legacy and existing systems. They will also learn about the use of social media platforms and emerging technologies in healthcare (augmented reality, virtual reality, beacon systems, etc.) and will understand the level of resources being deployed in each of these arenas. Attendees will walk away with a thorough understanding of the current state of digital marketing in healthcare, able to compare their own organization's current situation to what others in the industry are doing. That information make be used to help create their own digital marketing and digital operations road map.
