Description

In an effort to accelerate progress in healthcare, public health human services and realms with which they intersect (ex., environment, schools, courts, etc.), HIMSS and the Stewards of Change Institute will lead a roundtable discussion to:

  • Aggregate current knowledge about the use of interoperability and information-sharing to improve processes and outcomes in health, healthcare and related spheres;
  • Offer recommendations based on an analysis of what is (or is not) working; and
  • That frame policy objectives for government agencies at all levels, private organizations and nonprofits to inform and enhance efforts to address our country's current health crises (ex., opioids, Zika virus, water in Flint, MI, etc.) and to better-prepare and confront future ones.
